My Life Since 1982:
"Moved to Arizona – May, 1987
Got a business degree – May, 1991
Married Ron – June 1, 1992
Had Dakoda – December 18, 1993
Ran a travel agency from home –from 1993 to 2004
Bought our 1st house – November, 1996
Had Lexie – June 17, 1999
Got a paralegal degree – March 2004
Ron works as the general project manger for an audio/visual company which means he books/staffs/orders
equipment for and runs corporate shows. His main client is a division of ING and his work takes him all over
the country (and sometimes out of the country). I work for an employment law/contractual litigation law firm
where there is only the attorney and I so I have both the paralegal and administrative duties. We also form
corporations and draft contracts. The favorite part of my job is the ability to work from home (or anywhere with a
connection to my work computer). It’s great when I want to travel with Ron on his shows. My oldest, David is
married now to a terrific girl, Cassie (Sandra Mowers’ daughter) and they live in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He works
for the railroad and they have a son, Cameron – 3 years old; and a daughter, Miciah – born in January of this
year. Dakoda is starting 8th grade and is interested in guitar, video games, computers, art and anime. Lexie is
starting 3rd grade and is interested in singing, art, computers, shopping and all stuff that is ‘girly’. We are in the
process of building a house on a little over an acre at the top of Central Avenue a couple miles out of town. OK –
so we haven’t broken ground, but we bought the land and have the house plan. We are currently shopping
for a builder. That’s the high points for me….."
