Gary, aka McKee Mouse, Larry, Jerry, Jerry Lou, Magee, and Superman, has been
involved in basketball, cross-country, track, Mar-Vals, and SEIC. He claims he was
on the basketball team because of his ability to stay away from drugs. He enjoys
watching sports on TV. His favorite food is pancakes, and his favorite groups are Air
Supply, Journey, and The Gruesome Foursome. He dislikes people scratching their
fingernails down a chalkboard.
Gary says his best basketball game was the last game play against Preston
because everyone gave their all and the crowd was with them 100%. He plans to go
to college for a semester and then go on a mission.

My Life Since 1982:
"After getting married in 1985, and living in Downey for 3 years or so we ended up moving to Pocatello, then
Boise and then to Salt Lake where we stayed for 2 years. We have lived in the Bear Lake Valley for almost 17
years (and plan to be here for many more!) and absolutely love it here! Our kids attend the Rich School District
and class sizes are extremely small due, around 40 kids per class for Middle and High School age. Both Jordon
and Zack graduated with their Associates Degree from USU at the same time they graduated from high school
because of an AWESOME concucurrent enrollment program here at Rich. It is the best of it's kind in the State of
Utah. This accopmplishment also made them elgible for the Century Scholarship which pays 75% of their
next 2 years of college. They are both very involved in music (along with school sports) with Jordon a guitarist
and Zack a drummer. Jordon is currently serving an LDS mission in Hawaii; he will be returning on August 3rd.
Zack is serving an LDS mission in the North Carolina, Charlotte mission. He has been out for 5 months. Hayden
will be a Sophomore this fall. He is heavily involved in football, basketball, track and his guitar. Cassidy will be
starting 8th grade this fall as the Student Body President of the middle school. She also is very involved
in volleyball, basketball, is a drummer and just recently won the Gold Medal at the Utah Summer Games in Cedar
City with her team in the 13 and under girl's basketball division. We recently adopted Tayla who is Amber's
great-niece. She was left with us at 3 weeks old and after 2 years her parents decided they wanted her back. We
ended up in a week long trial a year ago in April and won the case--terminating the parental rights of her birth
parents and consequently adopting her this last September. She is truly a joy to have!
Gary owns Bear Lake Realty and is very involved with development around the valley; mostly in Fish Haven,
Idaho. He has been very successful in this line of work and enjoys the people he works with. Amber has
been a stay-at-home mother for all these years which she has very much loved! Three years ago we started the
first newspaper in Rich County, The Rich County Times, and she is the editor of that! We enjoy boating and
going to the beach, watching our kids play ball and excel in their endeavors (music, sports and school), yearly
vactions to our houseboat in Lake Powell and to Yellowstone, traveling and spending time with friends and
family in various activities!"
